One of the many enhanced Hardwood Constructions contractors working on Ashton Lake’s ongoing infrastructure projects (overseen by Norman Fairchild and Fertile Womb Industries) at the time of the outbreak.
Originally part of a small group of male survivors laying low in the sewers, Karl finds himself unable to safely return one day when a supply run goes bad. Eventually shaking a small horde off his trail, he seeks refuge at the town’s Library where - 2 days prior to Tiffany’s arrival - he meets the librarian Iris and promptly breeds her.
Later that night, Karl is “tragically” infected by a Female Zombie that followed him into the building. Thankfully for Iris, Karl accidentally damages his brain & gets crushed under a heavy bookshelf before he can transmit the virus to her.
