FAQs are currently under construction. I've answered a lot of questions about TD since 2018 & it's about time I started collecting all of the main ones I get in a single place to refer folks to. 

 

 

When is the next release?

I am no longer giving ETAs for any of my projects as my prior attempts have always been wrong.

The current progress on the next game build is displayed as a percentage found in the blog's title.
I will only announce a release date AFTER the new content has been completed & implemented.

Completed game versions & comics will be released publicly around 1 month after supporters gain access.
 

 

How long do you intend on developing Terminal Desires?

As many years as it takes to deliver the story & features that I have planned.

 

Total gameis still under 30% complete. It's just the Prologue that's done still. ACcT 1 & ACT 2 still need to be done and both are bigger than the last.This is a long-term project for me. The total game is still probably under 30% complete. Only the Prologue is finished.

ACT 1 has just entered development, & then there's ACT 2 after that - each bigger than the last. 

However, v0.10 has been a massive 5 year overhaul of the game - I don't anticipate progress being stalled for this long ever again.

While I'd love to get it all done as soon as possible (I have many other game ideas I'd like to work on some day), I have never been able to accurately predict how long anything will take. I sure hope that I can at least get the main story done before the end of this decade, but again, any speculation relating to time-frames on my part is entirely unreliable.

 

The main dependency of course is how long supporters are able or willing to continue supporting me. But as long as I am able, I will continue to work on Terminal Desires until it's done or I'm legally obligated to stop for whatever reason - it's difficult to predict the future of adult content on the internet after all, but I'm optimistic things will be okay.

 

 

Do you accept Commissions or Requests?

Not currently. 

If this ever changes I will make it clear both here on the blog & my other socials. 

 

 

Do you plan on officially supporting platforms besides PC?

Not at this current stage of development. 

But, once the game's main features & story is complete, I will investigate supporting the game on as many platforms as is feasible at the time. 

 

 

Do you plan on officially supporting languages besides English?

Not at this current stage of development. 

But, once the game's main features & story is complete, I will investigate adding translation support for as many languages as is feasible at the time.  

 

 

Do you plan on adding voice lines to all characters?

Eventually - assuming there's the budget for it.

For now, it's only some of Tiffany's lines(Performed spectacularly by TheVoiceVixxen), with more being added every build.

 

I've resisted the temptation to cast additional characters for now, due to the slowness of my development speed. The last thing I want to do is cast someone to play Vanessa now, then take 5 more years to finish all the Vanessa content, and have to recast Vanessa in the event that her actress has retired from adult voice acting by that time.

 

It is for that reason that I will likely prioritize voice lines for characters who are "content complete", such as characters who have died in the story.

I made an exception for Tiffany as she's obviously the most important & has the most lines to get through.

 

 

Do you plan on adding real animations to Terminal Desires?

I would certainly like to. However, I am not currently an animator.

I will need to take some time off at some point after I've released a sufficient amount of new content, in order to teach myself how to animate. 

 

And if I do add animations, it will only be for new scenes. I have no plans of re-animating existing scenes (outside of maybe some exceptions) - as this will take too long. 

 

 

Do you plan on making a version of Terminal Desires where the characters have smaller or "more realistic" proportions?

No.

Same goes for bigger too. What you see is what you get.
I like providing as many options as I feasibly can, but as it already takes a long time to support the multiple body growth stages for the characters that I currently am, I'm not going to be adding any more than what is planned.

 

Unfortunately, I won't be able to satisfy everybody. However, as all of my work tends to involve some kind of body proportion growth, I will be mindful in future games to make more characters start off with smaller, more "realistic" proportions, so that I can provide a wider net of options for players, without decreasing the maximum sizes.

 

 

Do you plan on selling Terminal Desires?

No.

Supporters will get early access, but completed versions will be released for free after ~1 month.

 

In the future, I may consider releasing the game on certain storefronts like Steam. If the implementation of storefront features (steam achievements, tradings cards, etc) or any other required/additional development turns out to be complex, then I may consider releasing it on that platform for a small cost - but in that event I won't remove access to the free public version.

 

I do plan on selling future games that I make, however.

 

 

Do you plan on making a sequel to Terminal Desires?

No. 

Terminal Desires is intended to be one game.

 

I do have plans for at least one TD spinoff game I'd like to make sooner rather than later.

But I don't think Terminal Desires will ever get a direct sequel that continues the stories of these specific characters/locations. 

 

 

What future games do you plan on making?

I have many ideas, but I will save them until the appropriate time.

For now, my focus is on the Terminal Desires IP.

 

 

Will you ever make a continuation of any of your previous, pre-Terminal Desires projects?

No.

This includes finishing non-TD projects that I previously started but never finished.

 

Prior to the first release of Terminal Desires in late 2018, making art was a hobby, & I sometimes accepted commission work in the later years. But since TD v0.01, it's become my job instead.

  

I'm too busy with the Terminal Desires IP to focus on anything else right now. And after I'm eventually finished with Terminal Desires, I have a number of future game ideas I'd like to tackle.

 

So I will be making more new game & comic projects in the future, but I sincerely doubt I will ever return to any of the previous projects that I worked on from before 2019.

 

 

What Software do you use?

• Audacity 2.3.1
• Premiere Pro CC 2017

Do you use AI?

No. I do not currently use any A.I. at any stage of my workflow.

 

Inevitably this may change at some point in the future - as these tools are constantly improving, for both the better & the worse. But as of now, I have no immediate plans to incorporate generative AI. (Aside from ethical objections, it's still just not good enough to be worth it for me, both in terms of quality & efficiency.)

 

If my stance on this ever changes in the future, I will update this answer to keep people informed.
