Terminal Quickies: Private Security

Here are all 30 Comic Pages + Cover image for "Private Security", the Terminal Quickies comic drawn by artist AnonKBs. Starring Vanessa Morgans & Kiana Eller, this story takes place at the Ashton Lake Casino roughly 5 months prior to start of the game.

Private Security tells the story of Vanessa's run-in with Kiana the day she briefly considered applying for a job as a stripper/dancer at the Casino's Club on Floor 1(as Lara does in The New Girl). I wonder what totally wholesome activities they'll get up to in this fine establishment... ;)

Apologies for taking so long to post the public release of this 2024 comic.

I had a lot of fun writing this one, even if it was the most inconsequential story of the Terminal Quickies comics, plot-wise. It was still a good way to introduce more world-building tidbits here and there for those who are interested in those kinds of details.

As alluded to in the opening pages, in addition to being a college student, Vanessa dabbles in amateur "cam-girling" as a way to earn an income while studying. Though, being the shy(closet pervert who prefers to watch) girl she is, she always disguises her appearance with makeup & wigs when live. That's also the reason for wearing the shades & doing her hair up. The last thing she wants is for those familiar with her to find out about her side-hustle...

The specific "law" Kiana is referencing on Page 7 is the Westerican legalization of damaging one's clothes to strip them, so long as you cover the cost of repairs/replacement. Doesn't really come up in-game since no one is too concerned about the law during the zombie apocalypse. :P But that's how the logistics of this Westerican cultural practice works in the regular day-to-day TD reality. For anyone who cares.

 

 

I do have more plot-substantial TQ stories in mind for both Vanessa & Kiana (separately) but I don't know when I'll get to those. 

 

If you were less enthused about the absence of color this time around, than you'll be pleased to know that my current TQ project with AnonKBs is in color and with a much shorter page count, so we could play around with both the visuals and pacing:

 

 

But I'll make a separate post about Terminal Quickies: Union Smashing once it's done.

Until next time, work on the game continues. My focus is on making one new scene per month, and creating new ACT 1 content, rather than finishing v0.10, since that's what players actually want.

So that is why progress appears to have stalled for several months: because I have not been working much on content that I had factored into my percentage calculations for the next release.

2025 Easter Special

Hello all,

I hope you're keeping well & enjoyed your Halloween. 

Nothing specific to celebrate the occasion this year, (because what could be more scary than v0.10 still not being done yet?) but luckily regular most Terminal Desires content is inherently Halloween themed by nature. 

So now seems like an appropriate time to share the Easter Special I made for supporters on SubscribeStar & Patreon back in April.  :')

These 5 new comic pages are a continuation of the 2020 special which you can view online here.

I hope to continue this non-canon comic more regularly than once every half decade... After all, there are a lot more girls to join this happy family, & we need to see them expand out of this basement before things get too crowded. :P

And yes, I'm still working on the game. No ETA, but you can monitor the progress via the percentage given in this blog's title. I won't provide an ETA until I'm virtually at 100%, as otherwise I will get it wrong - as I always have previously. 

I've got a backlog of posts to make here on the public blog, and updates to continue to slowly transform this place into a helpful companion guide of sorts for both the Terminal Desires game itself and it's expanded universe explored via the ongoing collection of comics being produced. I want all information about the game to be easily accessible here. Though as I am ever busy with the game, I cannot promise any time frames.

Terminal Quickies: Jailbreak

 

Howdy folks,

Here are all 18 pages of "Jailbreak", the Terminal Quickies comic drawn by artist MeinFischerArt. Starring H.C.P.D. Chief Officer Jasmine Juggs & Ashton Lake Deputy Sheriff Debra Derringer in a canon event that took place roughly 1 year prior to the start of the game's story. 

Deputy Sheriff Derringer visits Hardwood City to get an invaluable tour of the correctional facility by the Chief of Police herself! Unfortunately, the two busty officers of the law end up getting a tad too close to some pent-up, horny inmates. Seems like those cell keys weren't too safely secured by Juggs either...

Balls emptied, these four F.E.S. enhanced studs are now free. With roughly one year in-canon between this comic & where the Game's story begins, who knows what kind of depraved mischief Anthony, D-Roy, Patrick & Jackson will get up to, and their whereabouts at the time of the game...

Massive thanks to MeinFischerArt, not only for their incredible art throughout this comic's run, but for stepping up to take over the Jailbreak story from the previous artist who abandoned the project & ghosted me. :P

 

By adapting the story into a comic, I think we were able to elevate the project beyond it's original scope as an illustrated short story anyway. So it was probably all for the best in the end.

What's next for Terminal Quickies? For $3+ supporters, Lara's primary TQ Story: A Case of Conception has finally returned in comic form to take Jailbreak's monthly TQ comic slot. Popsiclebunny has been hard at work on it so hopefully Survivor & Special Forces tier supporters are enjoying those monthly pages. 

 

There is also the ongoing Private Security TQ comic featuring Vanessa & Kiana with art by AnonKB.  

 

There will of course be public releases, just like this post, once each full comic is complete.
