Working on Stuff

Hello Everyone, time for an update on some things I guess. Though I have been slowly progressing I have in fact gotten quite a bit done. However a lot of it is for the soon to be announced project written by Camille which we will be finally, officially announcing within the next month. When that's announced I should be able to post some more frequent updates showing off a lot of the concepts and progress with that project that I've been doing over the past 7-8 months.

Today I wanted to briefly catch up on a bunch of things I have been doing for Emily's Negotiation. We still don't have an idea of a release date yet. While I've made a lot of progress we're still just over a third of the way done for this first scene of the story. The other scenes will be more brief and be released sooner, but this one will take a while and will fall into between 100-150 images at the moment. So I hope everyone can put up with the slow progress. It will be worth the wait however. I'm actually working on it right now. Here is a screenshot of some posing I'm doing right now. Keep in mind this is just the view from inside Daz Studio so it's not a high quality rendered image like the final result will be.

Each fully rendered image usually Takes about 3-5 hours depending on how much is going on in the scene. I don't really have a super rig and I probably won't have a PC upgrade anytime this year so my render times are not likely to increase that much this year. Anyway as most of you should know this is simply a hobby for me so while I dedicate a lot of my time to it it's not something I treat as a full time job. So I will admit that I don't spend all of my free time working on renders because it is time consuming and I have other things to do in my life. For those 3-5 hours while rendering my PC also uses a lot of RAM and becomes quite slow so anything such as playing games (which I also enjoy) is out of the question.

Anyway enough of me rambling! I just thought I'd give a little insight into my personal perspective and try and explain why I don't pump out a new image set every week or as frequently as some others.

Now I recently upgraded to a new Vagina model which you can sort of see in the above image but I'll give you a better look in the below images:

As you can see it looks rather nice and has nice stretching morphs which will be handy with the size of a lot of my monsters and aliens lately ;)

Also while on the topic of Emily's Negotiation the writer for the story Andi has recently published 2 columns on the affect3d site about writing for 3dx. I'd highly recommend checking them out as they are quite interesting and also include some previews for Negotiation that haven't been posted anywhere else yet.

Also at the end of last year I did an image for the forums there where they had an Elf rally thread. For it I posted made this image featuring my "elvish" characters.

What's that? Some new Alien Futa Girl? Yep. One of the aliens I've been working on for the extended "Jimjimverse" which I'll talk about later. In fact I plan on doing another post next week showcasing this new race and explaining some of the lore and my design process. So look forward to that I guess.

One more thing for Emily. I did a while ago some renders of her in some armor based of the halo series spartan armor. I'm not going to be using it in any of the planned sets but I thought it looked kinda cool and may as well post it.

If anyone has any questions or wants me to talk about or show off some other behind the scenes stuff just let me know in the comments and I'll get back to you. Hopefully I'll be back next week to talk about the new alien futa race that I mentioned.

Happy New Year!

The year is over but Emily is just getting started!

I want to thank everyone for their support in 2014 as well as their patients and am looking forward to what 2015 has in stall. Hopefully you will all like what is planned and can put up with the time it takes me. Happy New Year to everyone out there!
